I work in parallel with talented strategists, designers, and engineers in designing and building software products for our clients. At Method (a GlobalLogic company) I also oversee our Residency (Internship) Program. This includes creating a product development curriculum, engaging leaders across the org, socializing the work, recruiting residents, program management, L&D workshop creation and facilitation, and mentorship. It's one of the most fulfilling roles I get to have.

After two years of freelance web design, I started an agency and built up a team 8 sub-contractors. We built up a loyal portfolio of clients that we provided digital strategy, social media marketing, and web design work for. Our industry verticals were cybersecurity, fintech, & SaaS.

I lead the 2nd largest alumni chapter of Liberty University - creating opportunities for alumni of all ages to connect, serve, and support one another. We have over 10,000 alumni in the Charlotte, NC area

Led a research & design engagement for a Fortune 500 Financial Services Company & Global Non-Profit with multiple stakeholders, executive level sponsorship and visibility. Accomplishments included:- Received ongoing mentorship and guidance from senior product managers who empowered me to lead and serve confidently. - Served as a mentor for a group of 15 interns, teaching them product development and executive presence best practices.- Partnered with Global Non-Profit, BuildOn, to further understand their customer, identify opportunities to adapt their business model, and validate the feasibility and market demand for a new web application digitizing their physical operations.- Examined underlying assumptions, business goals, and risks through conducting qualitative interviews and user surveys (300 minutes of session time)- Refined interview & survey learnings into insight statements and themes, defining features for clickable prototype- Using the KANO methodology, evaluated user perception and desirability for the highest priority feature areas.- Deliverables included a clickable prototype, technical architecture recommendations, and research findings to support future development.- Responsible for preparing and delivering executive board communications including strategy updates and product roadmaps

• Functioned as the Product Owner for an internal talent management initiative to build an application responsible for aligning individual’s growth plan with their project allocation. It was called Skookum GPS (Growth & Project Selection). • Responsible for leading daily standups with engineers, delegating and prioritizing our feature backlog in JIRA, validating our problem statement with users through interviews, and facilitating discussions with internal stakeholders• Faciliated Level 10 leadership meetings (EOS framework) on behalf of the President to encourage discussions about client and account strategy • I also supported our sales department by contributing to project proposals for clients including Nascar, Ally Bank, RedVentures). During my first summer at Skookum, I experienced all facets of the organization from client relations to software development, all the while building meaningful professional relationships and contributing to various internal projects and client proposals as a member of the client engagement team.

• Created designs and rapid prototypes for proprietary client portal software• Conducted key whiteboarding sessions to innovate ideas prior to building wire-frame designs in AdobeXD & Whimsical• Gathered client requirements in order to create interactive prototype designs in AdobeXD• Evaluated current state processes within SalesForce & eMoney (Portfolio Management Software).• Provided process improvement recommendations and implemented changes within SalesForce & proprietary user portal to improve customer experience.

Led a life science project that spent 30 days aboard the ISS studying tardigrades and ethanol production of yeast. During the 15-month project timeline, I learned how to identify potential roadblocks, reallocate resources effectively, empower team members for success, and coordinate with stakeholders including Honeywell Inc., NanoRacks LLC, and SpaceX. My favorite part was watching the CRX-11 rocket launch carry our 3D printed "Micro-Laboratory" to space!
