    Worked to improve global health. Led and managed the global Mobile Health team at Grameen Foundation. Our team of engineers, health experts, and field staff improved the health of people in developing countries by building technology and systems which combined the power of mobile devices with existing healthcare infrastructure. To deliver on our mission, my team designed and delivered innovative mHealth solutions in Africa and Asia. We also created the Open Source MOTECH software platform so subject matter experts at other NGOs or Ministries of Health worldwide could create their own cost-effective mHealth solutions to meet the needs of the people they serve.The software and health system solutions we delivered addressed key global health issues, including increasing adherence to TB and HIV treatment regimens, improving maternal & child health, managing supply chain coordination, and testing new vaccines. We delivered the technology powering the largest mHealth solution in the world, the Kilkari Maternal & Child Health Service in India which serves over 1M families. Other notable projects include the EBODAC program to support clinical trials of Ebola vaccine in Sierra Leone, the Mobile Midwife program in Ghana and Nigeria.

These experiences included Search Companion in Windows XP, Speech Recognition in Windows Vista, and Search Commands in Office.Shipping the first Microsoft Calendaring application, Schedule+, and several versions of Microsoft Mail in the early days of PC messaging.Launching one of Microsoft's first web services, Sidewalk.com, and building it to a nationwide and international leader in the local guides space.Being part of the team which shipped the innovative -- and failed -- Microsoft Bob, which I will still defend as a great piece of technology which sadly never reached product-market fit. (But don't blame me for Clippy!)
