I am a seasoned financial and operating professional and manager with extensive experience in finance and operations leadership, strategic planning and execution, corporate finance and governance and advising boards. I have a real passion for helping both large and small companies develop and implement strategic initiatives that improve processes, reduce costs, and drive revenues. I approach every task with an incredibly strong sense of urgency. Some examples of my experience include:CORPORATE RESTRUCTURING: Executed deal preparation and analyses, made buyer contacts, and negotiated letters of intent that resulted in the selling of 19 convenience stores for $27 M (95% of appraised value) for $200 M annual revenue chain; process included assisting in negotiation of Asset Purchase Agreement and marshaling of extensive due diligence conducted by buyer on behalf of seller.STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION: Created and implemented a new Reorganization Services Strategic Business Unit in Dallas, Texas which generated a run rate of more than $5 M in annual revenue.FINANCIAL & OPERATIONS LEADERSHIP: Secured $24 M in new financing commitments for a $25 M manufacturing and distribution company in less than 120 days.FINANCIAL RESTRUCTURING: Led and directed a team of 20 in conducting extensive financial analyses and due diligence in successful restructuring of $375 M of debt for an international logistics company.REVENUE & EBITDA STABILIZATION: Achieved a 45% increase in the line of credit for a company with three separate businesses units and annual revenues of approximately $30 M comprised of oilfield services, agricultural sales and service, and retail construction and agricultural equipment sales. This new financing provided the needed working capital to meet vendor demands, purchase new inventory, and support ongoing operations until a liquidity event or restructuring could occur.Contact us to learn more about how we can assist you in navigating the complexities of restructuring and/or bankruptcy to help position your organization for long-term success.John☎ 817.312.9691john@tittlefinancial.comCertifications: CPA.CFF.CGMA, CTP, CIRA, CDBV

Chief Executive OfficerGasmart Usa Apr 2015 - Jan 2016GasMart USA, Inc., and affiliated companies, headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, was a high-volume distributor of primarily branded motor fuel that operated over 40 convenience store and gas station locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, and Nebraska as well as its own trucking company during my tenure at CEO.I was retained as CEO after the sale of 19 stores to TravelCenters of America to turnaround the 40+ remaining gasoline station/convenience stores. Chain challenged by years of lack of re-investment as well as the actions of a domineering founder who created a pervasively oppressive and negative culture. With this exit of this floundering and very "old school" individual, during the turnaround, and continuing through Chapter 11, I acted as facilitator and change agent with the remaining management team who had not been allowed to be effective under the formal regime. The culture improved dramatically, both in the field as well as at the corporate office. Our team brought the chain "back from the dead" both financially and operationally. We continually faced headwinds that included contentious shareholder disputes, lack of vendor support, and actions by other parties in the bankruptcy that virtually derailed the first month of the case. While I continued my efforts in the field, in operations, as well as the turnaround/bankruptcy, and our team made tremendous progress, ultimately the chain was broken up and liquidated through a 363 Sale Process. -
