Teaching undergraduate students in Construction Management about Virtual Design & Construction through real-world hands-on applications. From site logistics plans, quantity takeoffs, modeling for constructability reviews, 3D MEP coordination and visual scheduling, the students learn the practical uses of VDC tools in the AEC industry.

Worked on projects ranging from system-wide replacement of network hardware, complete facility relocation to server troubleshooting, upgrades and replacement.Also responsible for leading the development of the IT infrastructure to support the VDC department, complete with understanding the software tools to custom-built computers designed specifically with VDC use in mind.

70 workstations, 7 servers......and a couple of mechanics visiting websites they shouldn't.

I started out in the field (like my father, grandfather and great grand father). With a broom, then a hammer, finally graduating one auspicious day to a gasoline powered chop saw... I don't think my great grandfather had one of those though.
