Pulse is ADT's home automation platform, giving customers the ability to control their home security systems, security cameras, lights, and climate through the Pulse web portal and mobile apps.I manage and contribute to a team of software developers automating Pulse web service testing, data integrity and reporting operations, and mobile application testing for the iOS and Android platforms.We use Espresso and XCTest to develop our mobile application test suites and our own goRunner application to test web services at production volumes and to automate API call sequences to update Pulse data and verify data integrity.

My team developed goRunner, a high volume multithreaded web service client written in Go, which we now use for load testing and scripting web based data operations. goRunner is open-sourced at https://github.com/adt-automation/goRunnerMy team also sourced data reports for the ADT Pulse platform from Apache logs and Oracle databases, and developed jobs to continuously manage and report various aspects of customer, web service, and Pulse equipment data.
