I have been exploring opportunities in the Information Technology area. My contributions to the field have been significant, as is evidenced by my technical and management skills. As you can see in my resume for the last six years I have worked with first Xerox and then Atos at a Desktop Support Center Supporting the over 5000 employees of the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. I also worked with On Site Computer Repair and was the Lead Technician at Distribution Management Systems and as a Senior Field Engineer at Motorola just after they had acquired SCA (Software Corporation of America) installing Servers that were primarily designed to work with the Premier MDC application. The Towns of Cheshier and Wallingford were my accounts. My accomplishments and areas of expertise are outlined on the enclosed resume.When I was with IBM during the years of 1987 to 1994 I was the Facility’s Technical Representative and interfaced with Vendors, Customers, and Hardware Technicians as well as supported 1100 Desktop Users. We also had two IBM AS/400 machines where I assisted in establishing Client machine connectivity via 5150 Emulation. I was also the go to person for any software purchases where I would receive a request, get a price and approach management with the request.I am very well versed in Backup and Disaster Recovery Scenarios and am aware of the speed of Disk to Disk Backup and the safety of off site Tape Backup. Other assets and strengths include perseverance, sound decision-making, zest for challenge, and excellent teamwork skills. My ability to oversee multiple projects with ease attests to my overall style, as well as emphasis on customer satisfaction.
