I am the Senior Director of Industrial Decarbonization at the Pembina Institute, a role which brings together my entire career experience, skills, and interests. I am leading a group of subject matter experts, known for their technical and policy expertise, who explore the intersection of energy transition and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. My work covers a range of topics, from decarbonizing industrial energy production, conveyance and use across Canada, to finding solutions for remote communities in need of clean, accessible, and reliable energy supply. The Pembina Institute is a clean energy and environmental think tank, working to solve today’s greatest energy challenges. As a go-to source of energy expertise, Pembina provides research, analysis and recommendations to inform policies and practices related to energy.

Executive Director for Sector Alignment & Business Relations at InnoTech Alberta (a subsidiary of Alberta Innovates), where my team is responsible for market intelligence and sectoral alignment, business relations and business development, and all external relationships in the innovation ecosystem. This includes industry innovation associations, innovation and technology consortia, and public and private sector organizations in the research and technology development space (provincial and national). InnoTech works closely with Alberta Innovates’ sector investment programs including: Clean Resources, Clean Technology, Entrepreneurial Investments, IT and Artificial Intelligence, and Health. My team works to align InnoTech’s research capacity and capabilities (facilities, equipment and people) with provincial R&D needs. InnoTech is a subsidiary of Alberta Innovates - Alberta's research and innovation engine.
