Overview In 2009 I retired from 30 years of service to the people of Monroe County, New York and the workers of the Department of Human Services. Thus began the next phase of my life. Not retirement, but a whole new learning experience, a whole new industry aided by the experience of the prior 30 years of my professional life. My work life was not over, it was enriched.For years i looked for the magical retirement age. Planned for it to happen.
