Hello and welcome to my page and profile.I am an architect (licensed in California), 35+ years experience in the field of architecture with extensive background in project management, construction administration, quality assurance & control of projects & documents, plus providing detailed research for site assessments, feasibility studies, constructability surveys, entitlements and reviews of methods & materials.I have been fortunate to have worked on a wide variety of project types, building systems and technologies. No project type is too big or too small. Working on projects ranging from a prototypical park restroom buildings to on site surveys and field verifications of a waste treatment plant,single as well as high density residential developments to urban retail infill projects, I have never backed away from any project that afforded me the opportunity to learn more.My years of experience have allowed me to work in the areas of residential development, from single family homes, apartments, large scale residential developments, Educational facilities K-12, to Lab facilities for the University of Irvine. R&D Campuses to Retail Shopping Developments, Aircraft Hangers, to Historical Restoration and Documentation, Civic Projects, Hospitals, Medical Offices and Dialysis Centers, this is just a small taste of what I consider being fortunate to work on.Work sectors have included: Federal Project, the current association with AECOM providing services for NASA Ames Research Center, The State of California - Cal-Fire, Various City and County's and various Municipalities. I am a very detail orientated person and strive for designs that are not only pleasing to the eye, but practical and functional. I pride myself on researching the nuts and bolts of all my projects. Creating a project that goes together well and will last a long time is one of my passions. In my career I have been responsible for coordinating of design and construction professionals, consistently managing multiple projects in all phases, from building & site design to code & ADA compliance, due diligence review, cost projections, scheduling, fee proposals, construction document prod. & spec. writing.
