St. Joseph Home creates a home for adults and children with developmental disabilities who have complex support needs and use a wheelchair for mobility. The Home, a non-profit ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, offers a creative, loving environment for those in the residential, respite programs, and day programs. Attention to the individual’s medical, social, educational and spiritual development reveals the unique giftedness of each person. Greenacres Foundation is a non-profit, private operating foundation that provides free customized educational field trips to schools.Led restructuring of department that enhanced efficiency/effectiveness of offerings and employees in providing custom educational field trips that align to state standards and reinforce classroom curriculum to schools.• Devised education department goals focused on quality of services, employee professional development and leveraging assets.• Established supervision guidelines that integrated with department goals and employee performance.• Developed educator tier system to facilitate employee effectiveness and advancement.• Created professional development policy and shadowing program to promote continual learning for employees. • Developed/provided oversight for intern program, work studies program and student volunteer activities.• Combined three departments to ensure consistent quality programs and efficient use of resources.
