During my time with the Furniture Bank Of Central Ohio, as Director of Operations, I focused on a “big picture” strategic vision, and ways to elevate self-sufficiency through social entrepreneurial development and managing our online auctions, thrift store, and downsizing businesses. Direct responsibility and collaboration in a wide range of functions, including staff growth, service fulfillment, budget expense management, IT, customer/client relations, warehousing, logistics, and revenue growth.Moreover, my teams and I successfully cultivated and sustained fruitful relationships with client agencies, donors, vendors, and volunteers. Utilizing communication skills to liaise and collaborate with Resourcing Edge, a PEO, relating to HR, payroll, benefits, and employee relations for about 50 employees. My teams ensured the seamless running of processes by forging and strengthening strong working relationships with the development, finance, volunteer departments, while helping create grant narratives for various types of support. Responsible for administering and maintaining all the aspects of call service center, warehousing/inventory, appointment and delivery schedules.

Integral team member of Broadband Installation Services (parent company) responsible for logistical, procedural and cost control measures that grew business revenues from $13M to $82M (530%) in six years which in turn was acquired by a $1.2B public company.Managed and integrated multiple centralized functions for field operations for over 1,000 employees in 18 different offices across 9 states in the areas of – Training, Fleet, Purchasing, Facilities, Asset Control, Risk/Safety Management, Quality Control and IT. Coordinated the complex business model requiring trained, out-fitted technicians and trucks were deployed properly, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum revenue. This supply chain management approach required effective logistical and field office support, which gave the Regional Managers confidence to concentrate more closely on client relationships and customer service delivery.

Proven effectiveness collaborating with people from various functions to achieve aggressive goals. Laid groundwork for unprecedented growth by redesigning internal procedures and controls, introducing managerial/operational improvements including computerized tracking, process streamlining and procedure creation. Courses included High Speed Data, general CATV troubleshooting, train the trainer and supervisor development and standardization. Creation of QC and Safety Departments to capture key performance indicators mitigating costs related to client charge-backs and insurance premiums. Utilized keen analysis, insights and team approach to drive organizational improvements and implementation of best practices.
