As a member of the senior management team, I was the first point of contact between the investment community and the company. In this role, I was responsible for effective presentation of Hudbay’s strategy, financial and operating results and major business events to the investor and analyst community.I played a lead role in the development of key messages for all investor communication and organized the Company’s investor relations calendar and attended investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, presentations and hosted site visits to Manitoba, Michigan, Guatemala and Peru. In addition, I analyzed and tracked our shareholder base and monitored top holder trends over time to measure the effectiveness of our investor targeting program.
