I encourage an open atmosphere within the agency where designers, developers, and account managers can engage in creative discussions and work together to deliver a better product. I work extremely closely with my team, encouraging them to push their own creativity as well as making constructive observations to produce a better standard of work. My belief is that a collaborative effort is always going to bring out the best result for us and our clients. When I’m not in the studio with the team, I’m with our clients. Whether that be pitching for a new piece of business, facilitating a design workshop, or presenting concepts to a client whilst always reinforcing the ethos of the agency. This could of been a first meeting to take a brief, a pitch to present work or just a catch up to see how a project was progressing.While Lead Creative at The Hideout, I took pride in being able to understand the clients needs while pushing boundaries, and coming up with high quality concepts that were not only visually appealing, but well thought out and functional. I started out by creating a limited run of t-shirts under the name 'Rapscallion' to help promote my own work and to explore my passion for logos, brand and hand-drawn typography.
