I am a barrister with a focus on criminal law as well as sports law (disciplinary tribunals including rugby league and horse racing tribunals)

Public Officer and Life Member of one of the oldest rugby league clubs in the world (est 1910) which provides junior rugby league in the Mascot/South Sydney area.

Partner of the firm, overseeing between 20-30 staff at anytime. I focussed primarily on criminal law, sports law and horse law, but did have some exposure to employment law, property and civil litigation.

I presented at Road Sense's Mascot Traffic Offender Intervention Program to people referred by the Road and Maritime Service (RMS), the Courts or their Solicitors or their own initiative usually as the result of repeated or serious traffic offending. My role was to provide an insight as to what the court process involve and what a typical court appearance is like so that program participants are better equipped when it comes time to go to Court. I help them prepare themselves for the type of submissions that Magistrates are looking for and what are the behaviours in their conduct that influences the Courts decision in providing heavier or more lenient outcomes. Road Sense is an amazing program that helps provide safer drivers across the country.
