Supervise technical-services operations for all offices in the US LLP plus Caracas, Mexico City, Sao Paolo, and Abu Dhabi locations, including cataloging, serials processing, routing, circulation, ILL, and facilities maintenance.• Managed user access to multiple critical electronic resources, overseeing the distribution of new-issue alerts for electronic journals, working to provide access to as many digital resources as possible through a central catalog, and using advanced tools to analyze usage data; ensuring that users could locate needed resources quickly and efficiently while targeting unused resources for potential cost savings.• Devised and implemented several quality-assurance programs including an annual routing and subscription audit for print and electronic resources as well as a serial-retention code system to reduce costs and redundancy while also increasing efficiency of user access to critical materials.• Collaborated with overseas staff and attorneys to develop taxonomies of attorney skills and team outside interests to use in conjunction with the firm’s internal directory, with the goals of improving professional collaboration within the firm and also fostering employee social connections.• Worked with Chief Knowledge Officer to reduce print collection by over ninety-five percent, reducing the library’s physical footprint and eliminating off-site storage costs while ensuring that users retained access to all vital resources.

Acted as interim Technical-Services department head from February 2006 through December 2006.• Worked closely with staff in locations across the US and overseas to coordinate cataloging of remote collections.• Assumed the role of Interim Manager when the previous department manager left unexpectedly, taking on supervisory duties and becoming responsible for my own training in team operations and procedures.

Using OCLC Connexion, CatME, and Dynix Horizon, cataloged 300-400 items per month, combining both original and copy cataloging.• Worked to incorporate the previously-separate DEA colllection with the existing Department of Justice collection, allowing the DEA users to access their own collection through the DOJ’s more advanced catalog, and also allowing other DOJ users to see results from the DEA’s catalog in their searches.
