I am a passionate electronics technician dedicated to making sure the designs I work on are thoroughly tested and free of design defects, whatever the media involved. A large part of my early career was involved with being a lab technician at IBM doing bench work and also at ITT, and several other PCB manufacturers, testing circuit boards and troubleshooting them from schematics. The next phase of my career was involved with testing for certification, troubleshooting system and circuit design flaws, sometimes onsite at a customer, and later designing Intel PC based embedded circuit boards and subsystems. I am also a very capable troubleshooter who has yet to find a circuit board problem I could not diagnose. I also am an expert at generating reports in MSWord, Excel and PowerPoint. My experience is complemented by my efforts as a small enterprise operator with my purchase and operation of a Servpro Fire and Water Mitigation franchise Owner/Operator has given me valuable leadership, personnel management and customer interface skills. My experience with cell phone tower support company, KMS Wireless, has given me extensive experience in field testing of cell phone antenna pilot exploration, including team supervision. I gained understanding of wireless meters for gas, water and electric systems plus an understanding of electrical meter power hookup for Wye and Delta systems while at Elster, Inc. My tenure with DuPont electronics has been very insightful for thermal interface material testing. My employment with CREE, Inc has given my great insight into LED lighting strategies and methods including power supply/driver programming and testing. My contracting time at Danfoss as an Electrical Lab Technician has involved Medium Voltage drivers doing setup, large inductor and capacitor mount and dismount, safety review and modifications, outside electrical contractor coordination. Calibration maintenance. Circuit board rework/modification. PowerPCB for schematic and PCB viewing. Windows Office Tools. LabView execution. AirFloat Applications. Lead and Lead-free soldering. Lab setup and maintenance.
