Coordinated the nexus of information to senior U.S. Army executives to include the Secretary of the Army and Chief of Staff of the Army. Facilitated 24/7 situational awareness of Army forces and worldwide activities, and provided a single point of expertise for synthesizing, analyzing, and communicating global operational and personnel information from across the Army to enable strategic decisions to move forward. Managed capabilities to run around-the-clock headquarters operations from an alternate secure site. Led training, standardization, and knowledge management for organization personnel.

Fort Meade, Md

Led a diverse 70-person organization of select, experienced combat advisors and functional area experts. Built and developed cross-functional teams responsible for mentoring deployed units on emerging threats, implementing best practice solutions to increase effectiveness, and stimulating Army innovation for the future. Expanded understanding of the complex operating environment and developed rapid training and solutions to urgent challenges, prioritizing effective communication with stakeholders. Analyzed insider threats, developed countermeasure strategies, and advised multiple organizations on risk mitigation approaches.

Fort Meade, Md

Led a 17-person division consisting of experienced Soldiers, civilians, and military experts, with a focus on assessing adversary threats, identifying capability gaps, and developing solutions. Planned, coordinated, and synchronized advisory support to Combatant Commanders worldwide, to include combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, and complex transregional problem sets. Managed operational analysis and cross-coordination within the organization’s elements and across Special Operations Forces, joint forces, and supporting government agencies including the FBI.

2Nd Battalion, 3Rd Infantry Regiment – Joint Base Lewis-Mcchord, Wa

Managed and resourced daily operations for an organization of 700+ military and civilian personnel in 12 subordinate elements. Responsible for equipping, training, force development / modernization, and planning for the entire Battalion to include executing a 10-month deployment to Iraq. Allocated resources to include a $2.2M ammunition budget, training areas and ranges, and aircraft support. Supervised the operations of the Battalion Tactical Operations Center, and served as the principal staff proponent for the maneuver and battle command combat functions.

Fort Benning, Georgia

Served as the Assistant Operations Officer and Senior Liaison Officer for the 75th Ranger Regiment, an elite unit composed of three geographically-separate Ranger Battalions and a Regimental Headquarters ready to deploy on no-notice combat operations in multiple areas of responsibility. Assisted in planning current combat operations, future plans, training, and preparing Ranger forces for combat. Coordinated cross-functional Regimental operations with other Special Operations Forces, conventional forces, and Interagency elements.
