Developed a new system for retrieving measurements from the machinery in the mill. It is a system that needs to run 24/7, reading analog data using a device from Texas Instruments called FieldPoint which is connected to the network. The data is then uploaded into the proprietary datastore. Also developed diagnostic tools based on the same system to be used when inspecting machinery which allow for faster and more specific data acquisition.
