Born into a military family in Okinawa, and later serving in the US Navy, I spent most of my life travelling the globe. I am drawn to those unique experiences and enjoy learning new cultures, having now visited 53 countries. I have used those perspectives to help me build diverse teams and lead them to accomplish challenging goals.Early in my career I learned the ability to deal with significant pressure while operating a nuclear power plant, on a guided missile cruiser in the Persian Gulf, during Operation Desert Storm. Those experiences positioned me to be relied upon by my leadership during complex projects due to my ability to make order during chaos. My experiences were broadened by working across different industries (semiconductor, energy, intelligence, consulting), learning new market dynamics, and developing corporate strategy. My unique educational background combined with my communication style has enabled me to succeed in executive leadership roles. I have led multiple due diligence processes, facilitated acquisition/integration, and drove >15% CAGR for the region over the past 5 years.
