John is a recognised authority in strategy and innovation, with a proven track record of founding and leading technology-driven companies. Over his extensive career, he has guided Boards and executives of some of Australia's premier organisations on growth strategies.After a decade in the information technology industry, John launched a management consulting firm specialising in growth strategies. He went on to establish a data analytics company, delivering predictive analytics to online, financial services and telecommunications sectors across Australia and Asia. John has also chaired a technology platform company and co-founded Artrya Ltd, an artificial intelligence company that successfully went public and developed groundbreaking AI solutions for heart disease detection, receiving regulatory approval in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the European Union.With more than two decades of experience in chairing boards, John was honoured with an Honorary Doctor of Commerce from Curtin University in 2022, acknowledging his significant contributions to commerce and the arts. In 2019, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia. Additionally, John is a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management Western Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the recipient of the AICD Director Award for Excellence in the Not-for-Profit Sector in 2017.
