Set up desktop and laptop computers for new employees including setting up outlook email profiles, anti-virus and malware software, printer installations as well as other necessary software on an as needed basis.• Installed and managed Microsoft WINNT file server for migration from old Novell file server. Responsible for day to day maintenance of server including set up and removal of user accounts, groups, files shares and permissions.• Managed Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 mail server including set up and removal of user mailboxes, distribution lists, custom recipients and alias names when required.• Managed onsite DNS servers running on QNX operating system using BIND• Created and plotted Engineering RF coverage maps using pc based Terrain Analysis Package (TAP) software for all FCC licensed paging frequencies operated by the company.• Assisted Software Engineers with conversion from old Reseller Access Program (RAP) to new modernized Subscriber Control System (SCS). This was a large project spanning the course of one year that involved helping to test and debug SCS software, identify problem areas and gave input for new functionality and ease of operation for our reseller customers.
