Customers were Fortune 2000 across various verticals.Attracted multiple offers and successfully sold the company to EMC.

Engaged by the two founders immediately after initial funding (Acell and Bessemer) to build the company’s sales and marketing. Built the first subscription-based managed security service model in market, targeted at large customers, Established offices in London, New York and Boston and employed 140 staff. Contracted with the top 25 security companies and major System Integrators and OEMs to support marketing of the service. Realigned the sales and marketing model through three strategic shifts as the company evolved. I left to become an entrepreneur in residence at NorthBridge Venture Partners.Company was subsequently acquired by British Telecom.

Symantec as a multiple products business.. contact management, comms software, networking, development tools, project management, desktop tools and AntiVirus..... sales were through multiple channels, at price points from $19 to multi-million dollar enterprise solutions.Revenues grew from $50m to $680m, few hundred staff to over 3,000.VP EMEA Marketing for four years, based in Holland. Lead marketing and various sales groups across EMEA. Brought multiple products in multiple territories under one unified marketing effort. Built and lead multiple EMEA sales channels... Enterprise, OEM, VAR and created a Direct Mail/Telesales group in Dublin. Promoted to headquarters in Cupertino as VP Alliances to build out a scalable GTM infrastructure for taking the company’s products to corporations. I built a worldwide channel of VARs, System Integrators and OEMs, ran multiple business development projects, M&A activities and the company’s strategic relationships with IBM, Intel, HP and CA..
