Responsible for financial support of the $7B Southern Region Middle Market Banking portfolio.

Role focused on the global drive to improve operating efficiency. Responsible for Planning and Analysis, Financial Reporting, MIS and Strategy Support for the Global Consumer, Credit Card, Mortgage, and Consumer Finance, Operations and Technology, including Customer Service and Infrastructure, Collections, Payments, Software Development, Offshoring, Financial and Business Process Improvement, Standardization and Optimization, IT Implementation, Automation, Expense Reduction, Sales Leveraging, Capital Budgeting, and Restructuring- Provided analytical leadership to Global Operations on reengineering programs and initiatives that delivered cost takeout of 6% per annum on the $6 billion expense base- Partnered with International Regional teams on the roll-out of a new Global Reporting platform. Led to more accurate, timely and consistent financials, tighter expense management and enhanced control- Implemented a capital spending prioritization process to ensure that projects worldwide were ranked and funded based on common standards and return metrics

- Implemented and Managed reporting of Financials and Key Metrics, Analysis, Capital Budgeting, Software Capitalization Project Oversight and Performance Measurement for Citigroup's International Consumer units, including Credit Cards, Mortgage and Consumer Lending and Retail Banking.Select Accomplishments:- Partnered with International Regional teams on the roll-out of a new Global Reporting platform. Led to tighter expense management and enhanced control.- Implemented global tools and processes to achieve a timely, consistent view of consolidated back office expenses, to drive efficiency and optimize investment spend.

Brought in to get an over-budget technology project back on track. Installed controls and demonstrated the economics of the new platform did not work. Developed standard reporting, measurement and planning tools for the International Consumer Finance Technology spend that enabled meaningful evaluation of cost structure and performance across the franchise.Select Accomplishments:- Partnered with Global Technology Head to rationalize spend and develop global technology strategy- Worked closely with the domestic and India-based Project Team in the development of a replacement product system platform- Developed standard reporting process and definitions which for the first time enabled centralized review and management of Technology spend, across the 21 country franchise

Forecasting, Financial and Strategic Planning, Analysis, M&A for Citigroup's International Consumer Finance and Mortgage Lending Franchise.Select Accomplishments:- After an extremely adverse law change in Japan, served as consultant and analyst in extensive restructure of the footprint, operating model, and target customer in our largest and most profitable operation- Led a process improvement team that cut the time from customer loan application to receiving the loan, from up to a week down to 24 hours- Managed the Loan Loss Reserve methodology and modeling to meet tightened regulatory requirements while mitigating the impact to the P&L

U.S. nationwide First and Second lien Residential Mortgage Operation including centralized Servicing and Origination via branch, broker and a centralized buying centerSelect Accomplishments:- Led a large multi-functional team in a yearlong systems and process redesign - allowed the $25 billion Mortgage franchise to meet restrictive Federal regulations with no profit erosion- Teamed with consultants to identify and eliminate unprofitable loan sources and adjust pricing to enhance margins and increase profitability by 15%- Also supported the Specialized Branch and International Consumer Finance units

Key part of team that stabilized streamlined and developed the franchise. Sold for a $1B+ profit in 4 years.Select Accomplishments:- Built the Planning and Analysis function from scratch. Implemented processes for Budgeting, Forecasting, Board Reporting, Capital Plans, Board of Directors Reports and Acquisition Analysis- Led the acquisition team and developed financial analyses for 20 due diligence reviews that yielded 3 acquisitions and substantially strengthened the franchise value- Managed the Debt Rating relationship with Moody’s, S&P and Thomson Bankwatch. First Gibraltar earned the only Investment Grade among Southwest U.S. savings banks
