I shifted the mindset of the organization to embrace risk management as an inherent part of company culture. I supported the organization to seamlessly grow from 300 employees and $20B in assets to 800 employees and $40B in assets. Additionally, I pursued organic growth on a global level.Highlights of my accomplishments include:•Expanded enterprise risk management strategy to include separate pillars for Operational Risk, Investment Risk, and Insurance Risk. •Created Enterprise Risk Taxonomy, compiled risk regulatory filings, and provided risk management and internal controls. •Managed relationships with audit and legal organizations, operational staff, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and internal and external technology resources.

I pivoted from the insurance industry to gain expertise and refine risk and compliance skills within the healthcare industry. I took ownership of enterprise risk and compliance and led the implementation of new software (Logic Manager). I served as the organization’s Risk Officer, Privacy Officer, and HIPAA SME supporting 600 employees across 5 locations.Highlights of my accomplishments include:•Developed the non-profit’s first enterprise risk management framework and trained staff in healthcare compliance and risk management procedures.•Conducted an internal embezzlement investigation leading to the replacement of the nonprofit’s CFO.•Point person for all corporate policies, Board policies, Medicaid and Medicare compliance, OIG and CMS rules and requirements.

I joined the company to build out a complete risk organization including all enterprise risk management framework. I developed enterprise risk culture and guided the risk organization to grow from 75 to 400 employees.Highlights of my accomplishments include:•Steered the organization through a complex transition to become part of the Federal Reserve regulatory regime. Successfully navigated new Federal Reserve regulations, managed compliance, risk, governance, reporting, and educated regulators. •Partnered with an outside vendor to develop a new interactive risk management training tool that substantially boosted employee engagement and knowledge.
