This was done in order to meet Nortel Time To Market strategies. As a deployment services Subject Matter Expert, I provided Product knowledge to all new product Deployment Teams by defining and demonstrating implementation of New Product Deployment methodologies. I have also created product time standards for quoting deployment services on all of Nortel’s Optical Portfolio. I have evaluated new products and partners to ensure our products are operationally deployable, serviceable, and maintainable. I evaluated test strategies and test equipment for the Optical Deployment teams. The Deployment teams take the test equipment to customer sites to perform the certification required by our customers and our standards. My New Product Introduction responsibilities included IPTV, OME, WIRELESS BACKHAUL, OM 5K OM 5040/5080, Axerra, Anda, Calix. I have installed Nortel’s IPTV solution in 3 customer networks including Randolf Telephone , Nsight and Grafton. I have also installed all the Nortel IPTV solutions in the Solution Integration Fulfillment Center (SIFC). I have installed, commissioned and certified for our customers all of Nortel’s Optical Portfolio. In my role with BroadBand Access I have also Introduced ECI , KEYMILE and HUAWEI products to Nortel deployment teams. Some of my project management experience includes managing BCM installation on three sites concurrently through Installation ( Rack mount, Desktop or Wall mount) and Configuration (Including initial configuration to define the BCM on the network). I managed multiple CLEAR and FILL sites in PA. OHIO, NC and FLA. EMBARQ was using the Calix C7 to replace NORTEL OPMs to deliver Triple play services. -
