John Whitt is a senior infrastructure, asset management and operations leader with 30 years of broad scope experience extending across infrastructure (renewable energy, battery storage, water banks, data centers, cold storage, and parking assets) and all commercial real estate types (office, urban/high-rise, industrial, medical, retail, mixed-use developments, and more). He currently oversees a multi-billion dollar portfolio of real estate and infrastructure assets across North America. John has managed portfolios from coast-to-coast and is a trusted advisor and relied upon resource for executive teams, portfolio companies and a wide variety of stakeholders on strategy, approach, operations, resourcing, financial management, corporate governance, innovation, construction, contract and financial management, positive cultures and more. Positive, proactive, high energy and engaging, he has a calm, collaborative style with landlords, tenants, off-takers, and investors that bridges silos and drives holistic business solutions. He is relied on to maximize property value, meet operational goals, mitigate risk and ensure a strong financial performance through innovative leasing strategies, operational efficiencies and securing and maintaining strong tenant/client relationship management. He is passionate about prioritizing and investing in emerging technology, efficiencies and innovation and sits on The MIT Mobility Initiative, which is focused on emerging technologies and future proofing and future casting and has extensive experience sitting on and leading Boards. He has 20+ years of experience serving and leading private, public and civic boards and associations and as a frequent and skilled public speaker and emcee, he enjoys and is authentically comfortable with all forms of presenting from engaging with crowds at industry events to leading high level meetings or debriefing state commissions. John lives in the Washington, DC area with his wife, son and three dogs. In his free time, he and his family are likely playing tennis or golf, traveling, or helping with animal rescue efforts. John is Board President of Entryway and he and his family volunteer with that organization and Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. They have fostered 400+ dogs and coordinated and worked on the adoptions of hundreds more.
