Orchestra Partners is a real estate development consulting firm that has planned $570m+ in hard costs for our design and development clients and completed over $100m worth of mixed-use developments. We stopped self-performing development work in 2022 after averaging 2+ projects per year, and my partner and I decided to wind the company down by the end of 2024.My executive roles were threefold:1. Operations, Strategy, Research-Strategic direction (organizational planning, revenue analysis, implemented two major pivots)-Process improvement (EOS Integrator, risk management analysis)-Research (ad hoc research to support growth, business operations, strategy)-General management (day-to-day operations, budgeting, performance reviews, legal/admin) 2. Business Development-Acquisitions (oversaw 2,198% growth, $19m in closings) -Sales/Marketing (created sales plan, CRM management, RFP responses, digital strategy)-Investor relations (recruitment, presentations, investor communications and reports)-Thought leadership (content creation, print/TV interviews, public speaking nationwide)3. Development/Project Management-Pre-development (site selection, contract negotiation, due diligence, financing, closing)-Financial analysis (pro forma creation, forecasting, term sheets, P&L)-Design coordination (conceptual/schematic design of 100,000 SF of hospitality/retail/office space)-Construction management (scoping, contract negotiation, budgeting, change orders)-Entitlements (environmental, parking, zoning, land use)

Responsible for site-selection and inception-stage project management for one of the largest K-12 school developers in the nation.-Helped locate, site plan, and open 30 schools across 7 states-Coordinated the development of over 3 million sq ft of school space during the fastest and largest period of growth in company history.-Established several new quality standards and team processes still in use today.-Worked with governing boards on long-range community planning and provided tactical support to teams performing the school’s concept/brand creation, charter approval, entitlements, construction, enrollment, and grand opening.

Relationship manager for a private-equity capital markets intelligence hub (now owned by S&P Global), specializing in connecting asset managers on the buy-side with broker-dealer community and investor relations teams. Also served as member of the Washington Association of Money Managers.

Studied with Gavin Wright and Ronald Steel.

Worked with mentor, Dr. Tennant McWilliams, Dean Emeritus (ret) on a book, as well as a research project on the analysis of Southern higher education from 1990-2010.Also helped teach two freshmen level survey classes in American History: Section 1 (to 1870) and Section 2 (since 1870).

Tutored student-athletes in History, Anthropology, Philosophy, Literature, English, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Astronomy, African-American Studies. Raised all students' test scores and succeeded in keeping over 95% of them eligible to compete.

Expanded the shelter's volunteer program from 10 people to a self-sustaining database of over 50. Increased awareness of the organization's mission and capabilities by speaking at local schools, setting up community adoption clinics, and manning off-site events. Recruited and trained volunteers in an attempt to replace paid staff and cut budget.
