A significant portion of my corporate career was spent with Ultramar. I initially served as VP of Sales and Marketing, and then as President of Ultramar Ontario Ltd., before moving to Montreal to be part of the senior leadership team of Ultramar Canada. I then moved to California to help lead a billion-dollar business as part of the Ultramar team. After the sale of Ultramar, I started my own business and developed a network of automated fleet fueling sites and truck stops across the southwestern United States. Our team built the business into a multimillion-dollar company before spinning off a major part of the company. In 2000, we moved back to Toronto and I became involved with CEO mentoring and peer groups. Since then, I have had the privilege of mentoring hundreds of high-performing CEOs.In 2008 I started CEO Global Network, a CEO & Executive learning organization where business leaders come to get the saw sharp and keep it sharp.Our mission is to significantly improve the success and lives of CEOs & Executives, their families and their companies. We deliver that promise through monthly four-hour Peer Group meetings led by a successful CEO who is the Leader/Mentor of the Group, monthly two-hour one-to-one meetings with the Group Leader/Mentor and speakers who are experts on topics of interest to leaders. I am the author of GREAT CEOs and How They Are Made: The Seven Imperatives.
