John Wilson is a licensed private investigator, certified examiner and information technology veteran with over two decades of experience working with the US government, public, and private companies. He serves clients in many industries as a trusted advisor to law firms, corporate legal departments, outside counsel and executives on best practices for litigation readiness.John provides consulting services to help companies ensure defensible practices related to computer forensics, records management, electronic discovery, and information governance. He has extensive experience with data privacy, intellectual property, and forensic analysis including cloud, mobile, remote and social media forensics. John has actively participated in every aspect of the litigation process related to electronically stored information, including: preservation, processing, document review and expert witness testimony in cases ranging from single custodians to complex litigation.In his role as a computer forensics expert and technologist, John has testified as an expert witness in state and federal courts. Additionally, he has conducted computer forensic investigations nationally and internationally on behalf of law firms, companies and governmental agencies including Fortune 500 companies, AMLAW 100 firms, Senate Oversight Committees, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).John frequently presents CLEs and speaks at conferences presenting topics relating to current forensic and eDiscovery subjects.
