Served as lead engineer on a layer 3 ethernet switch card development used in the 3COM Corebuilder 9000 series chassis. * Developed a Multi Processor Northbridge (memory/IO control) FPGA for a Motorola PowerPC MPC603 and PowerQIC MPC860 that provided shared access to an array of SDRAM packet memory. * Developed supporting southbridge FPGA to enable system management access to a 16 Port Gb Ethernet switch Fabric. * Developed messaging protocol to allow processors to communicate and perform slow path packet processing. * Oversaw development of the circuit board on which the FPGAs instanciated.
