Communication and Collaboration• Routinely met with the Political Leadership of five surrounding communities which included officials at Federal, State and Local Levels. Successfully managed a $100+ million training budget with a 98.6% execution rate.• Supported the planning and execution of emergency operations and implementation of the California Army National Guard’s emergency response during California Wildfire operations in two successive years. • Selected during a very difficult time to independently head an investigation of 140 cases of potential fraud that had national attention which required integrity, auditable results and timeliness.Building Effective Teams• Successfully led a 350-person multi-service/multi-national team of military and civilians in a combat theater of operations, responsible to Man, Train and Equip the Afghan National Police and Afghan National Army as prescribed by international agreement.• Successfully developed a staff of 200 military and civilians into a cohesive team capable of anticipating and meeting the needs of a 9600-person organization with subordinate units spread over four Afghan provinces. • Integrated a multi-disciplinary team with NATO and Joint staffs for roles and missions for my organization in support of national security strategy requirements and goals.
