The services established were the basis for lab-wide services for staff later established by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory information technology operations, which included services such as remote computer backup, automated computer program and operating system updates, hot-swappable equipment, and multi-user accessible databases.• Co-programmer/co-creator of a tracking and billing system for respirators used lab-wide. This system was created in 1998 and still currently in use.• Reduction of compliance issues by 20% by providing compliance oversight and verification of all facility operations with Federal, State, and Department of Energy laws/guidelines related to environmental safety and health activities.• Engineering design and support for experiments and additions at the High Flux Isotope Reactor including irradiation experiment design; verification and documentation of facility piping, control systems, and other facility systems; and equipment installation procedures.
