Colloquially known as The Bergen Record, it is the second-highest circulated newspaper in the Garden State. I illustrated many business and feature stories while employed here. Some were picked up for syndication by McClatchy-Tribune News Service. On occasion I filled in for the A1 designer. -

In addition to designing pages and creating charts, tables, maps and illustrations for stories, I helped install new pagination aoftware and trained my co-workers in its use. I also reformatted the paper as it moved to a smaller, 48-inch web. My work here was recognized by the New York Newspaper Publisher’s Association.
