My name is John Whitney. I am a senior staff accountant in Longmont, CO. I'm a previous graduate of the Master of Accountancy program at the University of Denver and the BBA program at the University of Oklahoma. I was most recently employed at Brock and Company, CPA, PC.I believe that the success of a true business is measured with by both quality and quantity. There are plenty of businesses that have high sales revenue and low costs, allowing them to rake in the profits no problem. This is why businesses that are able to combine an efficient business model with high customer satisfaction ratings and a reputation of honesty are the ones that shine the brightest.It is because of this that I have chosen accounting as my profession. Regardless of how our skills are put to use, there will be a lot required of us as businesses rely on us to ensure that everything is running smoothly as per their values and vision. As I have always been one to promote responsibility in everything I do, the profession seemed the best fit.
