The mission of the nonprofit corporation was to help boys basketball players in western Virginia get exposure to college recruiters on the AAU travel team circuit. We were the first ever boys team from Virginia to represent the state at the State Games of America in St Louis in 1999 placing 3rd in our division. We competed against teams from much larger markets on the AAU circuit including Boston, New York, Philadelphia. Atlanta, and the Boo Williams programs in Virginia. We won the gold medal in the 2001 Commonwealth Games of Virginia and 10 of our players went on to play college basketball. Three of these were Division 1 scholarships.
