I was the first technical hire with the company, tasked with determining a technical strategy, building an engineering team, implementing development processes as the company grew.● Hired, developed and managed talent on a distributed software development and QA team of 30+ staff located in Ireland, Serbia, and the Czech Republic.● Experienced Agile practitioner. Implemented and refined the company Agile development processes as my team grew across multiple locations.● Familiarity with building cloud-based systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and managing DevOps teams.

As part of Agilent's Irish Imaging Operation my role was to manage the research group that develops the next generation of imaging technology, algorithms, and classification systems for our automated optical inspection systems. Coordinated research projects with Agilent Labs Palo Alto.

MV Technology was an Irish start-up that was acquired by Agilent Technologies in 2001. MVT developed automated optical inspection systems for the electronics manufacturing market. I was project manager on two new product introductions. Via-10 system for high speed inspection of via holes in PCBs and FX-10 for 3D inspection of flux using a patented fluorescent excitation technique for height measurement.
