My Special Investigations Unit (SIU) experiences and skills provides exceptional surveillance services to the clients and was used for multiple other purposes, such as a business investigation for employee dishonesty or workplace violence and harassments.Listed below is my job description.• Conduct private investigations and report back to clients with discoveries and evidence• Question witnesses and other persons of interest for testimonies or leads• Research law enforcement case files and arrest reports in order to find details that support client claims and/or offer other event theories or scenarios to explore• Perform detailed background checks on all clients, persons of interests, and all other people linked to criminal cases.• Perform vehicle License plate verifications as related to cases.• Inspect crime scenes and review evidence, social media, taking photographs, analyzing, requesting information and verifying timelines, all while compiling detailed notes to be used for future reference.• Interview witnesses in the field and inside firm offices, and compare those to official statements obtained by law enforcement• Coordinate with experts to evaluate clients, analyze evidence and review case notes• Review data files, hard drive content, browsing histories and computer hardware related to case.• Prepare reports describing investigative findings, expert opinions, witness summaries, evidentiary details and other general facts of a case.
