John Yokley is the President and CEO of Progressive Technology Federal Systems Inc. (PTFS) located in Bethesda Maryland. Mr. Yokley has over 35 years’ experience in the field of engineering management and information technology supporting government and industry. Mr. Yokley established PTFS in 1995 to service public sector clients who were experiencing Big Data problems and required digital content management, systems integration and digitization services. Under Mr. Yokley’s leadership, PTFS has launched many successful vertical market strategies and software products. Mr. Yokley is the creator of ArchivalWare which was launched in 2000 and rebranded to Knowvation in 2015. The Knowvation (KV) Content Services Platforms (CSP) is a platform for enterprises, which manages and organization´s information and includes the capability to crawl repositories and build a federated index and either ingest data or manage it in place. The KV KSP provides a full-text search and retrieval system and content management system and has multiple apps including Geospatial GS, Declassification (DX), Records management (RM) etc. Mr. Yokley created the Digital Library System or DLS in 2007. Rebranded as Bibliovation this turn-key Library Services Platform manages both digital and physical assets for information resource centers and libraries which provides the ability to search and manage bibliographic catalog records for physical items as well as metadata and the full-text of digital objects. In the 80's Mr. Yokley designed and built computer-based simulators and trainers for military applications. He later served as the Director for Business Development at Kestrel Associates, Inc., where he developed and delivered engineering strategies and solutions. Mr. Yokley is a graduate from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (1980) and from the George Washington University with a Masters in Engineering Administration (1985).
