John Yost, the founder and principal of ProCompass Management Services, has been helping companies solve management and operations problems for more than 25 years. With a solid background in management and leadership, John has an in-depth understanding of the issues businesses face in achieving excellence in performance, as well as the tools and methodologies available to help them reach their goals.John received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and his MBA from Santa Clara University. He is currently pursing and doctoral degree in management. John has also served as an instructor and administrator for the University of Phoenix since 1999. In this capacity, John has conducted over 2500 classroom hours of instruction in business and management courses. He has also played an important role in the training and development of instructors for the University. John also has a keen interest developing a workforce for tomorrow an actively assists in helping students develop their employment potential. John has a great interest in creating a sustainable future. He regularly participates as a mentor and a judge in the CleanTech Open competition and support the educational, environmental and social initiative of the Institute of the Future.John has achieved a number of accreditations. He is a certified behaviors, values and attributes analyst with Target Training International and has twice received the President’s award from Target Training International for his community involvement. He has received certification as a Quality Manager and Certified Reliability Engineer through the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
