I feel fortunate that in my career I have led or contributed to many innovative engineering design projects. I’ve worked on the development of helmet mounted displays, head trackers, various flight simulator out-the-window display systems and a robotic system that removed paint from aircraft using a new dry blasting technology. As a project manager and project engineer, I championed projects from their inception through to their end. As the leader of an aerospace display systems group, I was responsible for the configuration and design of flight simulator visual systems. My excellent teams consisted of diverse groups of professionals working in a high tempo engineering design environment. As a Bid Manager in a multidisciplinary engineering environment, I was entrusted with the group’s more challenging government proposals. My proposal philosophy is that I don’t just respond strictly to the customer’s RFP but I work closely with Sales/Business Development and the customer to ensure the customer’s needs, over and beyond their request are met. I am now Director of Operations in a fast growing company that provides services to flight simulator manufacturers and operators globally. Specialties: Operations, Project engineering, project management, team leadership, bid management, proposal writing, engineering, simulation, display and visual systems
