Contracted by Shea CCS to provide a variety of activities and services for selected clients. This includes:• Performed an audit of the Operator Qualification (OQ) program for an Oil & Gas mid-stream operator. Utilized PHMSA (49 CFR Parts 192 & 195) and API 1161 as guidance to measure conformance. Developed a comprehensive report identifying gaps and areas of non-conformance. Included suggestions for improvement based on industry best-practices.• Assisted a mid-stream operator with updating their existing written Operator Qualification (OQ) plan. • Participated in Competency Assurance training sessions designed to educate client attendees on the method to properly perform Competency Assessments of workers.• Involved with developing a variety of sales proposal for clients designed promote available Shea CCS services such as compliance auditing (BSEE, OSHA, PHMSA standards), policy manual development and field assessments of operational activities.• Other activities performed involved some of the following tools: (1) Statistical Loss History Review, (2) Analysis of current/proposed regulatory language, (3) Development of written procedures, and (4) Process Flow Diagrams.

Provide service activities for Petrofac Clients. Assigned to an large Oil & Gas operator with the duty of developing a process to audit contractors in accordance with applicable SEMS criteria. Created audit protocol and platform to collect contractor information and upload to internal site. Coordinated “pilot” testing of audit protocol involving six (6) prominent Oil & Gas contractors. Process included meetings and site visits with contractors to facilitate successful implementation. Hired and trained team to perform audits for approximately 400 contractors. Audit team assessed all contractor submitted reports identifying more than 5,000 deficiencies. Assisted contractors with closing all corrective actions. Client wanted to move the audit platform to a 3rd party site software platform. Revised the audit protocol for the new site. Developed new audit protocol and instructions to complete the audits in the new platform. Trained client personnel on to utilize new process.

In transition due to a reduction-in-force.Upon transitioning from my previous position and putting my efforts to creating consulting opportunities, I have been involved in the following activities:- Attend and participate in Houston area job ministries.- Participate in industry and social networking events.- Stay abreast of regulatory initiatives (OSHA, NFPA)- Involved in Church activities such as VBS and building repair activities.

Responsible for coordinating loss control activities for all clients of the agency. Duties includes the development of customized programs to address loss history, customized/specialized safety training, loss history analysis, client meetings and other related activities.Assisted clients with injury trend concerns which negatively impacted the ability to maintain customer requirements. Developed a corresponding action plan to address injury trends, improve employee training, enhance accident investigation techniques and facilitate supervisor/safety department communications.

Responsible for all loss control activities related to the insurance program for the parent company as well as commercial clients for the agency.Loss control services were instrumental in maintaining a 94% agency client retention rate.Disaster preparation and recovery related to Hurricane Ike reduced downtime of affected agency locations to 1 day.Selected Accomplishments:• Developed and implemented a safety training program for supervisors and employees. Result: A 60% reduction of the OSHA Incident rate in 24 months. • Coordinated plans to implement a specialized fire protection system for a Wood Products Operation. Result: Avoided a potential increase in premium and reinsurance in the amount of $1,427,816 had there not been an action plan to address this issue.• Implemented and managed loss control services for agency clients. Result: Maintaining a 94% agency client retention rate.• Developed a Fleet Safety program to comply with insurance requirements. Result: The client avoided a $15,000 per year increase in premium.• Involved in more than 500 client presentations/training sessions with 7,500 plus attendees. Result: Provided management and employees with the tools to effectively and successfully implement a positive loss control culture

Responsible for managing the loss control program for the parent company, Temple Inland, Inc. Duties included the management of the property and casualty insurance program, monitoring insurance carrier activities, loss trend analysis and a variety of safety support activities. This included the implementation and training of a Behavior-Based process called MOST (Management of Safety Training). Involved with developing a first ever Property Conservation Manual for the parent company.Our property conservation activities reduced the number of insurance carrier recommendations by 45% over a 2 year period.The property insurance carrier (FM Global) that our loss control efforts equaled that of the leaders in the industry.The implementation of the Behavior-Based safety program (MOST) resulted in a $40,000,000 savings in 28 months to Temple Inland.

Responsible for developing and maintaining the safety program for 10 locations. Duties included site visits, compliance assistance, statistical and management reports.Developed and implemented a comprehensive safety audit program resulting in an improvement in measuring actual safety performance of the division.Enhanced safety statistical information provided to management.

Responsible for developing and maintaining the facility safety program. Duties included program development to regulatory standards, employee training, and facility audits.Developed and implemented a safety training program for supervisors and employees resulting in a 60% reduction of the OSHA Incident rate in 24 months. Implemented a Behavior-Based safety training program .
