From the time I was in third grade, I wanted to be a musician. The original goal was to be the front man in a rock band, but I eventually found my way to classical music. All throughout my college career and while playing in professional orchestras like the Hartford Symphony and the Maryland Chamber Orchestra, I knew that understanding personal finance was going to be critical. So, I read The Millionaire Next Door and became passionate about all topics related to personal finance and helping others become financially secure.Americans face a crisis of massive income and wealth inequality, lack of personal savings, and diminishing prospects of achieving retirement security, and it has become my mission to help employers and their employees improve their retirement plan outcomes. Whether the solution is as simple as helping an employee find ways to save 1% more to their retirement plan or as complex as a plan design consultation to improve a plan’s retirement readiness factor, I stand ready to partner with organizations as an independent, trusted advisor.When I am not at work, I can be found volunteering as a soccer coach, at our Church, or at local community events. My wife, three boys, and I enjoy hiking, biking, camping, and swimming—pretty much any outdoor activity.
