Working as a Clinical data coordinator at IQVIA, I got a good understanding of clinical research on-field and off-field activities. Data received after research from the clinical site undergo a strenuous validation process just like how gold is refined under fire and below are the details of my growth. I picked up technical skills of data refinement process like -Rave Database: Online database where data is recorded and extracted -Data extraction: Collecting data that is required to be validated-Query management: Carefully finding discrepancies in the data and finding the appropriate solution - Checks: Manual and formulated checks were made using excel and the extracted data is analyzed for any discrepancies and highlighted to the client. -Third-party validation: Data received from vendors that are helping clinical sites in research also have to go through a set of validation processes.Soft skills that I gathered are:-Articulate and effective communication-Attention to detail -Constructive criticism-Inspiring trust -Actively Listening-Networking-Teamwork
