C3 Interactive is set to launch a community app in the Philippines called iLink Asia. It’s a location-based app that's created to let users join communities that are relevant to their lives; the communities may be based on area of residence, work or school, as well as those of interests. The app has been launched in Singapore in 2017 and is being used heavily by the big universities there. The app has the following features that can be used by each member of the community:1. Chatterbox: where members can post anything under the sun2. Lost & Found: where members can post lost or found items within the school’s vicinity3. Market Place: users can also use the app to sell or buy items to other members of the community4. Local Events: users can create events that are only for other members of the community5. Buzz: this will have the list of establishments nearby, making it easier for members to search for a place to meet up or hang out.6. General News: Post the latest announcements, updates, and information. Report suspension and cancellation of classes for quick and targeted information dissemination
