Started work as CFO of Samhentir/Vorumerking in october 2016. This is a sister company of Samhentir and has the same seniour staff as it.Vorumerking was founded 40 years ago and produces packaging material for the Icelandic market. Many well known products in the country are packed in products from us. Examples include the Skyr products and labels on many different beers produced in the country. We sometimes say that you can hardly open a fridge in Iceland and not see a product from us.

ISB cards is a team within Íslandsbanki which oversees the card portfolio of Íslandsbanki and the brand Kreditkort. Combined these card portfolios represent around 40% of the Icelandic credit card market.The main projects the team has been involved in are:Complete revision to the credit card profitability model due to regulatory changes, both current and expected in coming years.Simplification of the portfolio to offer better service. We have gone from offering over 100 seperate product entities to offering under 20. This also makes it easier for representatives to know all products available and offer each customer the right product.A large project that is still ongoing is to go from two processors to one. This offers the bank the chance to better service it´s customers as all innovation becomes easier. This is a major project that no other Icelandic bank has taken on before and it means swapping out all cards of the bank.The bank has gone from offering VISA, MasterCard and American Express to offering just MasterCard and American Express, again this is part of our simplifying policy.A total overhaul of the accounting and data mining process is underway and the expected end result is to know our customers better and therefore better serve them.Other major changes are still unannounced and i will add them when i think the time is right.

A small successful distributor of popular products from Cloudb in Iceland. We distributed to all major Icelandic retailers.I sold the company in august 2016 to a larger Icelandic distributor.

Part of Kreditkort Senior management team.Through Kreditkort i have received extensive knowledge of the credit-card industry. My main focus has been data analysis, forecasting, risk management, ROI analysis, market analysis, innovation and interchange analysis.The main focus was to minimize losses due to delinquent accounts and to find consumers not badly hit by the recession in Iceland. This was a large success and the company managed to minimize it´s risks substancially.

Islandsbanki, a large bank in Iceland, has recently purchased all shares in Kreditkort. I was along with one other person from Kreditkort, one from Islandsbanki and one independent specialist part of a group that went through the possibilities the companies could have working together and what they should be doing differently.We worked on analyzing the market and the companies as a whole and then finding several ways how things could be done differently. We also did a lot of cost analysis and presented several different ways to go and options along with the cost associated with them.

Ingvar Helgason is a the Icelandic wholesaler for General Motors, Saab, Subaru, Nissan, Range Rover, BMW, Opel. I oversaw all financial aspects of the company along with our CEO. The main focus of my job at Ingvar Helgason was:Controlling the workflow of 4 cashiers.All financial aspects of the company.I oversaw the collections of debt.Billings, forecasting.Running of the company offices and cafeteria.Day to day running of the company when the CEO was on leave.

Was the highest selling representative. We were mainly selling phone subscriptions. Was also in charge of their printing department and did some work in Photoshop.
