Worked with bookkeeper to run monthly/quarterly reports regarding cashflow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.• Supported staff and board in specific fund development responsibilities which included: drafting and submitting grant applications in which we were awarded $50k, submitting monthly and quarterly fund development and finance reports, and working with director of communications to develop online and email fundraising appeals.

• Developed ecumenical, interfaith, and secular partnerships and mobilized a national coalition of 1,000+ African Americans of faith on domestic policy issues including employment, immigration, education, and healthcare reform, reproductive choice, the federal budget, and supreme court nominations.• Co-developed and implemented “Healing Grace: Prejudice and Stigma in the Black Church,” a 501c3 equal justice campaign resulting in new membership of influential clergy spokespersons, over $800,000 in institutional grants, and a California NAACP resolution to incorporate LGBT issue sensitivity into their 2009 agenda.• Coordinated logistics for annual conference of 100+ core members, managed budget for travel and events, created conference program content, facilitated town hall meetings, panel discussions, and other community meetings.• Organized monthly conference calls for interfaith and ecumenical policy working groups to analyze key components of federal, state, and local legislation to determine the appropriate response from the faith community.
