I found my way into business development by chance. After graduating, I aimed for an internship in design or web development but discovered an opening for an internship in business development right before my interview at NESL-IT. With my prior experience in affiliate marketing at Grammarly, I instantly asked HR to consider forwarding my application for the business development intern position. The interview lasted 45 minutes, during which my interest in business development grew with each passing minute. By the end of the interview, I had a strong feeling that this was the internship for me.Fast forward two years, and I'm still at NESL-IT, now serving as a team lead. Navigating various projects and challenges has allowed me to meaningfully contribute to the company's growth trajectory. Looking back, that moment before the interview feels like a defining moment. It set me on a path that continues to inspire me till today, and I eagerly anticipate what the future holds as I continue to grow.Outside of work, I find peace in gardening, especially growing new plants from seeds and experimenting with different varieties. Trying out new techniques, and seeing the results reminds me of the patience and adaptability required in business. Gardening, much like my work, keeps me curious and constantly learning.
