At NL-Works we help ambitious consortia that are aimed at creating innovative businesses to transform into impact programs with both a solid business case and societal impact. These consortia typically comprise of businesses, knowledge institutions and the government. We refer to this combination as the ‘triple helix’. We believe that when the government and corporate sector collaborate, this will result in a better proposition with potential for realising a greater impact. Especially when this contributes to solving major challenges of our time, like the tranistion to clean energy and foodsecurity. The regional board serves as: * coordinator of al regional activities and policies of the VVD (Dutch Liberal Party)* communicator between the national board, MPs and the party's expert committees on the one hand and local boards and party members on the other hand.My particular role was to manage and organize the scouting and training of talent.

YNNO works in the field of innovating people's work. She fucusses on both the possibilities that new technology can offer for the working processes and work places within organisations as well as the change process that its employees have to go through in order to truely innovate. These three items are represented as Bits, Bricks and Brains.My focus during working for YNNO lied in helping organisations perform better through changes in their working processes (design and implementation). Special fields of interest were: governmental organisations, healthcare and educational institutes.

During this masterclass we focussed with 20 graduates of mainly technical universities on developping new training methods and systems for naval officers in the field of emergency procedures on board of naval frigates. This required an interdiciplinary approach of both technical and social sciences. My team was the winning team.
