As part of the Anglo American owner's team on our EPCM model site I provide engineering direction and am responsible for engineering data collection & analysis, subsequent planning, and underground shaft engineering. Due to the nature of the Woodsmith site I've become versed in both traditional drill and blast operations and those of the Herrenknecht SBR; a snapshot of duties include project engineering & short-term planning, formwork alignment, QC on blasting & support installation, point cloud data collection/processing/analysis via CAD, SOP and ITP development & execution.

Managing night shifts as a Robotics Storage Platform (RSP) Area Manager in LCY2, Amazon's largest EU Fulfilment Centre, during a period of record shipment volumes. Planning shifts and driving the delivery of KPIs whilst managing a team of 80 Amazon Associates. Responsible for the logistics of COVID-19 related sanitization for LCY2 on my shift, proxy leader for LCY2 safety marshals on my shift, POC for COVID-19 testing on nights.

Shaft Sinking.Gained experience in the Geology, Geotechnics, on-site engineering, and strategic departments of Ivanplats through shadow placements with contractors in addition to receiving underground shaft sinking experience (including concrete/UG refuelling/LHD slinging/drainage/drilling/mucking). Helped facilitate fluid communication between departments and learnt firsthand how this can open opportunities for discussion which translate directly to on-site productivity.
