As a technical lead my core responsibilities are to providing technical oversight and ensuring quality control of all work executed by the institute. I also serve as a Project Manager of various county projects and I lead the development of training material using context specific knowledge.

Can you imagine something that gives more satisfaction that saving the life of a child. I can't.. I have the pleasure to do this on a daily base, not because I am a midwife, doctor or nurse, but because I teach the quality improvement methodology to health workers in Ghana.I currently facilitate quality improvement work in 67 teams in one of the ten regions in Ghana, teams made up out of community members, sub-district health staffs but also teams in hospitals consisting of doctors, midwives, management members etc. All these people have one thing in common, they have been taught quality improvement which gives them the capacity to analyse their systems performance, identify weaknesses and address them by putting interventions in place.. with the purpose to reduce under-five mortality.To excel in your work, you have to go beyond what is required
